Hi Amanda, the secret is out…..after staying at your beautiful place during the FiFa World Cup around the semi-final the world now needs to know that there’s a new star on the scene, which my son Nikita (9 yrs) and myself absolutely enjoyed. Great location, excellent brand new B&B with tasteful, individual decor in every room and your remarkable hospitality in a country that is becoming a new favourite on my all-time list. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, we will come back!
RECENTLY WE WERE VERY FORTUNATE TO BE IN CAPETOWN, AND ENJOY THE WONDERFUL HOSPITALITY OF STEVE AND AMANDA. THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF CAPETOWN, AND SURROUNDS ENSURED THAT WE HAD A WONDERFUL FEW WEEKS IN THE AREA. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE A “SIGNIFICANT” BIRTHDAY DURING MY STAY, AMANDA AND STEVE (WITH SOME SECRET HELP FROM MY HUSBAND), ORGANISED A SURPRISE TRIP TO A VINEYARD FOR CELEBRATIONS THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR B&B TO THOSE WANTING TO STAY IN A PERFECT HOLIDAY LOCATION, WITH WONDERFUL HOSTS.
Amanda and Steve, I had a great stay at your guesthouse, you both are so kind and helpful, very beautiful and clean rooms, delicious breakfast. I certainly come back once more, because at yours I have the feeling I’m getting spoiled :-)

This is the best guest house at the lower rates, meaning there was nothing more i could ask for after spending a weekend at this guest house. the view is just outstanding…..furnisher, the comfortable beds and not forgeting the best hospitality. I also recomment anyone who need a space for weekend and peace of mind to book this place..im coming to cpt again

We stayed at Simonstown guest house at the end of July 2012 and this was defiantly the highlight of our holiday! Our room was immaculate, spacious and what a view! So much better to base yourself here than in the busy city! Wish we’d stayed for 4 or 5 nights! Amanda was a brilliant host and we look forward to returning as well as encouraging our friends from overseas to make Simonstown guest house their base whilst in Cape Town! Thanks again Amanda!

We made Simonstown Guest House our base for a 3-week visit to Cape Town and the western cape in Aug 2012. Perfect timing for whale watching via nearby boat trips or even from your bedroom window. Don’t miss this place, it is outstanding, great value and the perfect base for a holiday in this beautiful part of Africa. Don’t stay in the busy city, it’s much nicer here. All bedrooms have stunning views across False Bay, and are stylish and very comfortable. The welcome is so friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are just great. Thanks Amanda, we’ll be back.
Hi Amanda, thank you for your friendly welcome and for the pleasant stay we had at your guest house last week. The best bed out of all the guest houses (11) we visitted :-) zzzzz….. We had a wonderful time and can’t think of anything else that we could have wished for! A perfect ending of our honeymoon.
We felt in your guesthose very warm welcome, especially when we think the little notes under the door and the chocolate for Xmas although we were sleeping long…:-)
The rooms are charmed and lovely decorated, the view is spectalous and we would really recommend this guesthouse.
On behalf of the Zulu family I would like to thank the staff of Simonstown Guesthouse for the warmth and understanding they gave us throughout our stay this past December. I have to say, of all the places I’ve visited in the mother city; this takes the top price. The rooms were spacious, the views mind blowing and the food delicious. The whole family has made a vow to stay at this hospitable and beautiful guesthouse on our next visit to Cape Town.
