This blog will become a place for all news relating to Simonstown Guest House, things happening in Simonstown, accommodation specials we plan to offer from time to time – and simply a place where you can get a “window on our world” here at the best accommodation in Simonstown.

So “Who are you?” you may be asking?

My name is Amanda (I’ll be doing most of the talking :) ). My husband (Steve) and I look forward to welcoming you to stay at our contemporary African themed guest house in Simonstown, Cape Town.

We have 5 tastefully decorated en-suite rooms, all with magnificent sea views, to offer.

Construction of the guest house is almost complete. We are now officially open for bookings from 1 November 2009.

    Emerging from the London winter we remember the warm welcome we received in January at this stunning guesthouse with its comfortable rooms, spectacular views and friendly owners and dogs. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

    Hi Deborah,

    Sorry for only replying now… things have been a little hectic with the legalities. We have finally been approved :) We were unable to publish any comments on our website until this has been done as it ‘appeared’ we are advertising….

    I didn’t know you were a birder!!! Don’t tell mum but I am arranging a secret trip for her when she comes to visit me in December. We are going to do a 1 week birders course in a private reserve within Kruger National Park… It will be such a great thing to do together. its going to be her 60th birthday from us and hopefully some of the family :)

    We would love to have you here sometime in the near future. We are very proud of our house and the finishing touches and of course the views. We are looking foward to Whale Season (Aug-Nov) as we can watch them from our house..
